| Message from the Prez September 04 I hope everyone had a happy and healthy summer, full of great Heisey finds. Congratulations to our very own Bryan Baker, who not only was elected to the HCA Board of Directors, but also made VP, and is in charge of next year's convention. The last I heard, Bryan was asking for a recount! Also congratulations go to Walter Ludwig, who was offered and accepted the job as HCA Museum Curator. Walter is the man for the job, and we all wish him luck.
At the HCA Convention, our table display, designed and constructed by Sheri
Warren, brought in the largest bid at auction! Next month's Heisey Herald
will also have an article by Sheri about the convention, so stay tuned. So far this summer, we've had five new members joined the club: Patricia Murphy of Laurel, MD; Sallie Holder of College Park, MD; Carol Cope of Fairfax, VA; Pam Johnson of Mercersburg, PA; and Faye Etter of Waban, MA. Welcome to the club, and please try to come to one of our meetings. We will be discussing and making preparations for the 33rd Annual All Heisey Show and Sale at our September meeting, so make sure to attend. And don't forget to bring your "Finds of the Summer." Last year's haul was pretty disappointing! John Martinez
