Greetings Heisey Hunters –

Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday I was writing last month’s article. As you are getting this, we’re preparing for the next meeting on photographic techniques for glass, so bring your camera and an item you’d like to photograph. We’ll try a few different methods to get that killer shot. Bring your camera and a couple of pieces of Heisey that you would like to get a shot of. I also want to get your recommendations for the Name-That-Pattern initiative for the Show.

The final touches to plans and preparations for the Gaithersburg show are falling into place. I had mentioned to a couple club members my cell phone number is the contact point, and I’ve been receiving calls almost everyday from people asking questions on accommodations and things to do in the area. We’re looking forward to these new folks attending the 36th Annual All-Heisey Show and Sale and fostering their enthusiasm for Heisey.

I’d also like to point out a detail many of you may not realize. The Heisey Herald is posted online to the club website, an is in color. Many of the pictures just lose some impact when printed and distributed in black and white. If you have a computer, please, visit the website for a much clearer view of the Herald, and feel free to print it out in color for your reference library. We also have a section devoted to a picture portfolio of past shows available for you to peruse.
